Introduction

    In 1996, MJSB was appointed as the procurement arm and the service provider for PETRONAS Group of Companies to support its global oil and gas related activities.

    Started as a procurement outfit based in Yokohama, the company procured all materials required for the construction of ASEAN Bintulu Fertilizer Sdn Bhd (ABF). Since then, MJSB has grown rapidly and has become an established international procurement company serving not only for PETRONAS Group of Companies but also other customers in the oil and gas and maritime industries.

    MJSB’s strategic goal is to achieve a sustainable business growth and value creation in procurement and services for upstream and downstream businesses of PETRONAS Group. Enhancement of the supply chain management, in-depth business intelligence and collaboration with strategic partners and parties within PETRONAS will form the building blocks to achieve this strategic direction.
