IT SECURITY
Users are hereby informed that the PETRONAS Groupwide Information Technology (IT) Security Policy ("the Policy") applies to the information contained in the PETRONAS Intranet website. This Policy governs the protection of all electronic information and it is intended to ensure confidentiality and integrity as well as availability of the said information to all authorised users.
Users are given access to the PETRONAS Intranet website subject to complying with the Policy and any amendments thereto, all approved IT Security Baselines ("the Baselines") and procedures governing system access and handling of electronic information. Diciplinary Action may be taken against users found to have violated any of the aforesaid Policy, IT Security Baselines or procedures.
Certain information contained in the PETRONAS Intranet website may be classified as for "INTERNAL USE" or "CONFIDENTIAL". Such information require a certain degree of protection from public knowledge and should not be disseminated to persons outside the PETRONAS Group.
All inquiries or requests for further information on the contents of the Policy or the Baselines should be directed to IT Security Administrator. The Policy and the Baselines can also be viewed at
GIRM Online under Standards > Policies/Baselines.
Warranties and Limitation of Liability
While care has been taken in ensuring the correctness of the contents of the PETRONAS Intranet website, PETROLIAM NASIONAL BERHAD (PETRONAS), its subsidiaries (wholly or partly owned), associated companies, affiliated companies, its agents, directors, officers and employees:
1. make no representations, guarantees or warranties as to the accuracy, reliability and completeness of any formation, materials or graphics contained therein:
2. reserve the right to make any changes to the materials, information and graphics contained herein.
